Dental implants are placed in the bone of jawbone in order to they replace teeth that are absent. It is the ideal treatment for individuals that have lost more teeth because of accident, decay of periodontical illness, with the condition that they have high level of oral hygiene and that they do not present any serious medical problem. 

Dental implant as him we know today, were applied for first time in Sweden in the means of decade 1960. Constituting product of long-lasting research and today their rate of success are higher than each other dental intervention.

4.  Regular retest the patient should visit the dentist in regular time intervals (1-2 times the by year's).

Advantages of Implants 

 Aesthetic re-establishment.  They show as the real teeth because implants they are placed in the bone, they anticipate the absorption of what happens when is absent a tooth for long time interval

High rate of success.  It is a tried treatment that is applied 35 years in Sweden and 20 years in the USA. It has the higher rate of success from each other dental intervention.

 

Disadvantages of implants 

 Duration of treatment.  The total Duration of treatment Is bigger than this traditional dental because it should we wait for 2-3 months in order to it is incorporated implant. In the interval that patient brings of course provisional additions so that does not appear the void.

 Cost of treatment.  Because the technology that is required for the placement implants their cost is relatively high. Nevertheless, in the long term they are in interest more the patient why is avoided brushing intact teeth that can in the future lead in caries.

 Choice of patients.  Are not all dental ill suitable candidates for treatment with implants patients with serious problems of health they are not faced with implants. Also smoked have decreased rates of success with this method (80%).
